The Very Large Array just outside of Socorro, New Mexico. This stop was just for me. I've always wanted to visit this place. There is just something about these 27 antennas, all with 82 foot diameter dishes that is fascinating to me. I can't explain it. I know, I'm weird. Ooh look, another Wiki link. We got here about an hour and a half before sunset. The light was perfect, too bad it didn't last longer.
